Experience

Deanna graduated from Daemen College in 2020 with her Doctorate in physical therapy. She has past clinical experience in inpatient, outpatient and pediatric settings in Syracuse and knew that she wanted to serve those in the community where she grew up. Deanna also has a background in orthopedics and vestibular therapy which provides her with a unique approach for treating those with neurological conditions. Vestibular therapy, including treating those with vertigo and with other dizzy disorders, truly interested Deanna and led her to obtaining her certifications through the American Institute of Balance. This has provided Deanna with the opportunity to provide the best care for this patient population in the Syracuse area. 

 

Deanna discovered and wanted to become a member of the talented Engage team due to Engage being all encompassing in their therapies including occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy. With such a collaborative and multi-professional team working together she believes in the superior outcomes and life-long supportive environment that Engage provides to it’s patients. 

 

In her spare time Deanna enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, volunteering at CNY SNAP’s adoption center taking care of cats and kittens looking for new homes, as well as trying out new recipes and restaurants. She recently has picked up learning golf, and enjoys spending time outdoors.
